Used GAP equipment

Gap frame presses are made in several designs. The most common designs are:

• Open back inclinable
• Open back stationary
• Two-point gap frame

They usually provide capacities from about 30 to about 500 tons. Their speeds range from about 25 to 600 strokes per minute.

The gap frame design is versatile and provides accessibility to the stamping dies. The design is also convenient for feeding and ejecting parts. Applications are usually when the stock is manually fed.
