Used STAMPING PRESS equipment

Stamping presses provide the force to open and close dies, which shape and cut sheet metal parts.

Stamping press equipment can be divided into two categories: Mechanical presses and hydraulic presses.

Mechanical Presses: These have a mechanical flywheel to store energy. The stored energy then transfers power in a blow to the workpiece. These presses can range from 10 tons to 6000 tons. The stroke is the length of their blow and can range from 1 to 20 inches with speeds between 10 and 2000 strokes per minute. Mechanical presses are well suited for high-speed blanking, shallow drawing and for making precision parts.
