one (1) powder metal sintering furnace, with an 18" wide variable speed belt now working at about 5"/minute, approximately 6" clearance above the belt and 2050 deg. F maximum sintering temperature. The atmosphere is currently hydrogen/nitrogen, but any can be used. This furnace has a natural gas heat source with 16 burners rated for 950,000 BTU/hour. There is a 6 burner preheat section, 4 burner hi-heat section and a second hi--heat section with 6 burners. The furnace was custom made for the owner for whom Mohr is under contract as the exclusive sales agent. The owner reports that it was manufactured to sinter powdered iron parts but that in recent years it has been used for "copper/brass" at considerably reduced temperatures of about 1600-1800 deg. F. Mohr's observation, and the owners reports, are that the furnace is in very good operating condition. It is complete with controls.
