Complete slitting lines are usually custom designed. Abbey Etna has some standardized machines which can be combined to provide a slitting line faster than a fully custom line. They have engineers available for consultation to help determine the best equipment for your job.

TUBE MILLS AND PIPE MILLS

The company has built tube mills and pipe mill lines since the 1920's. Their equipment has a reputation of durability. Various mills can produce up to 36" (914 mm) with 1" (25.4 mm) thick wall or mills which can produce down to 3/16" (4.7 mm) diameter with light wall thickness.

Over sixty standard models of tube mill lines and pipe mill lines are available. Models can be customized. New changeover systems for all size mills assist you in changing roll tooling quickly and safely.

Their newly patented "cassette type" shaping stand design allows automated changeover and roll gap setting helps reduce down time for roll change.

They have a full range of cutoff designs including friction saws, double and single cut shear cutoffs, lathe-type rotary cutoffs and milling type cutoffs.

SWAGERS

They have been building rotary wagers for many years and feature highly standardized designs that are capable of long tapers in a single pass. They reduce, size and form round tubes and solids. Customizations are available.
